How to get broadband in UK?
Hey all, here is a step by step guide on how to get broadband connection in the UK. It is not possible to live with being connected to the world so it is essential to get your broadband up and running quickly.
See if you already have a landline connection installed at your place. If it is installed , it speeds up the process.
Decide between cable broadband or fibre optic.
Broadband connections come along your telephone wire so if you have a landline connection setting up broadband is easy.Fibre optic require special fibre optic cables and getting fibre connection depends on the area you live in.
Once you have made the choice on the type of connection, its time to decide your provider
This involves a fair bit of research and depends on your preferences and needs.
Please note that whatever provider you choose, the speed of your broadband depends on the line installed by the telephone company. Even if they say 10-15 Mbps speed in their ad's, if your telephone line can carry only 2Mbps you will get 2Mbps only.
Choose your plan and provider online and oder online or at their store.
It will take ten days for you to be connected if you already have a telephone connection. Even more if a engineer visit is required.

How to get a Power of Attorney from the Indian Embassy?
Hey all, here is a step by step guide on how to get a PoA from the Indian embassy/consulate if your staying abroad. This is from my own personal experience when I got mine from the embassy in Edinburgh.
Prepare the power of attorney document. You can get the template from your bank or you can draft one yourself.
If you do prepare your own PoA make sure it as all the details the bank needs.
Print out the PoA in a A4 paper. Since the registration is done in India, you don't need to have it in legal paper or stamp paper. The embassy will only authentic your signature and no actually registration takes place.
Locate your nearest Indian embassy. You can google search it. If it is close by, you can go there yourself or there is a option to post the documents.
Documents needed
1) PoA document.(Do not sign the document, it has to be done in front of the officer)
2) Passport Xerox copy.
3) Visa Xerox copy.
4) Two passport photographs.
5) Address proof. (utility bill or bank statement)
6) Fees in cash only. (Check embassy website)
You don't need to take anyone along with you to sign as witnesses. It is not needed for getting a PoA at the embassy.
Go to embassy or post the documents depending on your convenience.
If you do decided to go there, it will take a day. You submit your documents in the morning and you can pick it up in the afternoon. No speed up service offered.
On the final page of your PoA, you will see the embassy seal and wordings saying that the embassy is not responsible for the content. This is standard and nothing to be worried about. You will also have the embassy seal on every page.
Post the authenticated PoA to your attorney in India. They have to register it in the registrar office within three months from the date of authentication for it to be valid.

Cooking for Noobs
You want to eat delicious food but you don't know how to prepare them. Well don't worry, I am going to post a series of recipes to teach you how to get the best out of simple ingredients.
Let's start with a easy and tasty dish.
Potato fries with Egg.
This dish is so simple and at the same time nutritious.
Ingredients needed for 2 servings:
Potatoes 2
Eggs 2
Chilli powder 2 tbsp
Corn flour 2 tbsp
Salt
Cooking oil
Preparation:
Clean the potatoes and cook them and in a microwave. The cooking time will depend on your microwave output power.
While your potatoes are in the oven, make the batter. In a bowl mix the chili powder and corn flour. Add salt and some water and make a paste. Make sure you don't add to much water, the batter shouldn't be runny.
Once the potatoes are done cut them into thin slices and dip in the batter. In a frying pan add some oil and start frying those potatoes until they are nice golden brown in colour.
You can make eggs according to your choice. I prefer scrambled eggs.
That's it. This simple dish won't take more than 15 min to make.
Enjoy. Bon appetite!
More recipes coming up soon.

Review of Moto E
Well when the time finally came to buy a Android phone, I was spoiled for choice. There are many driods out there but I was on a budget being a student in Edinburgh.
I went for the moto e. Why ? Because it packs a lot of features compared to its competition in the same price range.
And also I always wasted to own a Motorola phone. They are my second favorite manufacturer next to Nokia.
Time for the review now. I am not going to get technical here, explaining all of its specs. But I will tell you want you can and can't do with it.
First let's do away with the negatives cause there is only one.
You can not take a decent pictures. It says 5MP but with no autofocus and flash the pictures really turn out bad.
It doesn't have a front camera too, so no skyping here I am sorry.
Positives now.
Unbelievably good battery life.
KitKat OS is smooth.
Moto's inbuilt apps are a added bonus.
And most important for a phone which is not being considered important at all is the Call quality. I am happy to say that moto e has excellent voice and call clarity.
Summing up moto e is the best budget android phone out there. It does what it's exactly meant for. Definitely Go for it.
